Ben
The house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. The hosts were excellent communicators, even after we left. We had a peaceful night's sleep with no noise disturbance and the location was convenient for the wedding venue. We also appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee.
There were a few drawbacks, such as a steep and potentially dangerous staircase, especially at the top. The lack of tea spoons and poor mattress comfort was also disappointing.

We got great value for our money at the Racecourse - Free Parking - York Holiday Home. The room was clean, fresh, and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. The location was convenient, just a 30-minute walk into town. The hosts, Gavin and Rachel, were warm-hearted and always available to help. The peaceful and friendly atmosphere made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast menu could benefit from some improvement, perhaps by offering a wider variety of options.

The house was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Beds were very comfortable, providing a peaceful night's sleep. The location was convenient, with just a 30-minute walk to the town center. parking was available right outside the front door, making it easy to come and go.
The downstairs bathroom was a bit inconvenient, especially due to the steep and open staircase from upstairs. The baby gate at the top of the stairs added to the danger instead of preventing it.

We slept like babies in the comfortable beds and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The local people were friendly, and we loved the easy parking right outside. The house was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and had all the necessary amenities like wi-fi, an electric kettle, and cookware. We even had a lovely outdoor dining area and a children's play area. Board games kept us entertained, and we were thrilled that pets were allowed. No smoking on-site was a great plus too. The location was perfect, just a 30-minute walk into town, with a co-op and bakery nearby for any emergency needs. We highly recommend this incredible sanctuary to anyone seeking a perfect getaway!

It had everything I needed, like a shower and a washing machine, to make me feel right at home. As a backpacker, I loved the flexibility of having the sofa as a double bed, which meant more room for my fellow travelers.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but hey, some people might appreciate the coziness!
